I figured this was the place to ask. Is there any good Lola fanfic floating around on the web? We really only got a glimpse of her, so I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't anything featuring her, but I thought I'd ask nonetheless.

Also, MickBeth shippers don't kill me, but I'd like to find some great Josef/Beth stuff, too.

I was recently bitten by the Moonlight bug again and did a marathon on iTunes which prompted me to join an RP on insanejournal as Mick. Do any of you ever RP as Moonlight characters? I was curious. I tried once as Sarah Whitley, but the game fizzled. I don't know how much interest there is in the show anymore. I know I'll be a fan for life, but not so sure about anyone else.

After a long time of absence, I'd like to share some fan art with you. All reference studies done in pencil of the Moonlight characters/cast. I hope you enjoy them :).

I come offering the notion of a new kind of land comm geared only for a certain fandom, or a certain type of fandom. A land comm is basically a community where members are divided into teams and take part in fulfilling certain challenges, usually varied amongst fan fic, art, captions, and games, to see who can reach a certain score point first, but though the members are divided and all are trying to bring their team to reach the goal first, they remained united in their love of the fandom. For the type of land comm I'm suggesting, members would still be divided into teams and would still be trying to see who could score the big number first, but the challenges would all be fic based. Read on if interested.Collapse )

Josef is still my favourite subject to practice my drawing skills. The last one was done this morning. Hope you enjoy :)

Alex with Taylor's Gift founders, and President, Todd and Tara Storch, at a 2010 Donate Life Charity Event

For those who aren't already aware, Alex is currently supporting a charity organisation by the name of Taylor's Gift Foundation.

On the 15th of March 2010, Taylor Paige Storch's young life was cut tragically short following a skiing accident at the age of 13. Out of
tragedy came hope, when 5 people's lives were saved thanks to Taylor becoming an Organ Donor. The Taylor’s Gift Foundation was founded in 2010, by Taylor's parents, Todd and Tara Storch, with a mission to Regift Life, Renew Health, and Restore Families. Delivering events, speaking engagements, and fundraisers, the Taylor's Gift Foundation aims to teach, and educate audiences about organ donation, and the precious gift of life each one of us can give.

Taylor's Gift are currently in the running to win a 150k media package through the Team Escalade Texas, Cadillac Charity Challenge.

This email from Alex was forwarded onto myself, as a representative of the Alex O'Loughlin Fans for Donate Life, with thanks to Taylor's Gift President, Todd Storch, who was able to contact Alex's personal assistant, and get permission for Alex's message to be shared with me for the purpose of getting info out to the fandom at large.

A NOTE FROM ALEX:

"Hi guys! For those of you who have voted already - Thank you very much! For those who haven't please do so today and every day until Oct.
30. Remember, you can vote multiple times, every day is a new vote and all votes are counted. Taylor's Gift is such a wonderful organization and it needs all the support that it can get to do as much good as possible. I know Taylor's parents, Todd and Tara, will be deeply grateful for your support. Thank you all again so very much on behalf of Taylor's Gift and everyone associated with this great cause.

Yours sincerely, Alex O'Loughlin"
